Photographers depend on their camera packs for their living. Camera equipment is dense, fragile, expensive, oddly-shaped, susceptible to water and dust damage, and must be accessed quickly. Dimensions, closures, material weight, padding and suspension systems are all critical to pack performance. Design for camera packs is challenging, but it can teach us how to build useful and durable bags for any purpose.
